Keeping Portland Cheered

Cheer Portland, a lively and dynamic group known for spreading positivity through cheerleading, is thrilled to announce that our family has grown to 40 members!

We're dedicated to brightening the spirits of our community, and we're proud to share that 100% of our fundraising efforts go towards supporting the local LGBTQIA+ community. With our vibrant routines and contagious enthusiasm, we aim to uplift and inspire, making a meaningful impact while celebrating diversity in Portland.

Who We Fundraise For

The Hand Up Project

The Hand Up Project's mission is to empower the disenfranchised with the resources needed to improve their lives.

The Hand Up Project - The People’s Pantry Emergency Food Project offers a “shopping style” pantry, which preserves dignity by offering a choice of food staples. This model also caters to the individual’s personal and culturally specific dietary needs as donations allow; all while avoiding food waste from “cookie cutter” style food boxes.

Proud Member of the Pride
Cheerleading Association

The PCA Delegation offers representation to each Member Team and acts as a support network to share resources, experiences, and innovations among established and developing LGBTQ+ community-based cheer teams. PCA also serves as an association under which all such cheer teams may assemble during the quadrennial Gay Games (international, LGBTQ+ sport and cultural event) and other multi-team fundraising and performance events. PCA's Development Consultants help guide new founders through the Start A Team process.
