Who We Are:

Cheer Portland is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization cheerleading team that focuses on performing and volunteering to raise money for the Portland LGBTQIA2S+ community. The team is available to book for performances or to volunteer at local Portland events and accepts payment and donations that go toward our beneficiary. We are a team of volunteer cheerleaders who have cheer experience, have no experience, are a part of the queer community, are allies, or who just want to give back to their community as a whole!

What We Do:

Cheer Portland's Season 6 beneficiary is the Hand Up Project! Hand Up Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit “shopping style” food pantry led by and catered to the LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC community. The pantry fosters a safe, non-judgmental space welcoming anyone to the table. Hand Up Project aims to not only provide food assistance but to create a transformative space that empowers marginalized communities, addresses the root causes of their challenges, and fosters holistic well-being.

Where We Come From:

Established in 2019, Cheer Portland is a proud member of the Pride Cheerleading Association.

The Pride Cheerleading Association (PCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for community-based charitable cheerleading. PCA is Cheer Portland’s parent organization that advances charitable cheerleading globally by creating community, developing resources, and spreading cheer in pursuit of equity for every individual in LGBTQ+ spaces and beyond.
