Meet Our Team
Cheer Portland volunteers are a part of one of three incredible squads:
PRODUCTION SQUAD
Production squad volunteers are non-performing members who help with supportive roles behind the scenes of performances, fundraisers, and more.
DANCE SQUAD
Dance squad volunteers are performing members who learn and perform dances, jumps, cheers, and chances to help fundraise for our community.
STUNT SQUAD
Stunt squad volunteers are performing members who learn and perform cheers, chances, and stunting skills to help fundraise for our community.

Season 7 Tryout Clinics are here! Join us to learn what we do as a non-profit adult cheer team and see if being a performing cheerleader is right for you!
When: February 26, March 5, and March 12 2026 7:00-9:00 PM
Where: Empire Athletics Tualatin-Sherwood 14960 SW Tualatin-Sherwood Rd, Sherwood, OR 97140
Who: Volunteers 21+ looking to help their local LGBTQIA2S+ community.
What:
Meet the Cheer Portland team and learn what we’re all about, what we do, and who we cheer for. Join us learning cheers and chances and choose between our dance squad or our stunt squad.
Clinics will consist of three weeks of fun learning cheerleading skills and getting to know each other. You will be taught the cheers and chances we use at events and you will get to try out learning stunting skills and/or learning a group dance. No prior experience is required, but safety is our first priority!
On the final day of clinics, the Cheer Portland leadership team will conduct interviews getting to know you and why you want to join our organization.
